2017 Miss Owyhee County Fair & Rodeo
Queen Bo Bourasa

I'm the 18 year old daughter of Dusty and Bj Bourasa.

I graduated from Vale High School this spring and plan on attending Eastern Oregon University in the fall, majoring in elementary education. This year I have had the amazing privilege of upholding the Miss Owyhee County Rodeo Queen title. I am beyond blessed to represent this wonderful county. There have been so many great memories made that I will cherish forever.

For the last year I have been blessed to hold this incredible position with my amazing partner by my side,

Poncho. Poncho means the world to me and he has taught me so much within the last nine years of

working together. We both got started in 4-H at a young age and since then we've become an unstoppable team. It has always been one of my biggest dreams to become a rodeo queen and finally for over the past year it has been my wonderful reality.

This year was definitely an unforgettable one, but I wouldn't have been able to have done it without my support system. First of all, I would like to thank my coordinator, Debbie Shearn, for all she has done and her endless support. I'd like to thank the fair and rodeo board and also my sponsors for giving me this amazing opportunity. Also, thank you to my family for the amazing amount of support you guys have given me throughout my reign, I most definitely would not have been able to do it without them.

To the future Miss 2017-2018 Owyhee County Fair and Rodeo Queen, hold on tight because you are in for the ride of your life. It will be an unbelievable experience and you will touch the lives of many.

Thank you all for sharing your love and support throughout this wonderful once in a lifetime opportunity.

Sincerely, Bo Bourasa
